This was very helpful and I like the image of the Uturn to do the self compassion and thus then holding it for the offender.

Thank you for this. It’s so calming to do the U-turn. I’ve been holding onto resentment and anger after a break up. This was very helpful in seeing past that. I can se how this would need practice. 🙂

Id i could let go of judgment i would be a happier person. I am one who held on to it thinking it would make me a better person
When i tried the u turn technique and saw those who hurt me as having their leg in a trap i cried
It was a release i truly needed to experience
I felt free and able to enjoy those people as those who shared my humanness
