Shelly Harrell, PhDShelly Harrell, PhD, is a psychologist, researcher, and professor at Pepperdine University, specializing in multicultural and community psychology. Shelly has pioneered a culturally-centered approach to working with relational conflict and stress-related disorders, integrating mindfulness-based techniques to help clients develop resilience and distress tolerance. She has contributed to several academic publications, including a chapter in Toward a Positive Psychology of Relationships: New Directions in Theory and Research entitled “Being Human Together”. |
