I would feel the JOY and blessing of being myself if I didnt believe that something is wrong with me. Thank you, Tara for the kind way you underline the common humanity of being fearfull and the possibilities of having another type og relashionship to fear.
Thank you for this, I would be a powerhouse if I could stay in my true self all the time. Would love to learn more on how to stop the fear from creeping back in.
I know I am focusing on my flaws instead of my progress, but it’s so emotionally charging that I spend much of my energy fighting my fear of another failure.
Right now I always worry about what others might think of me. Without fear, I would feel free and become more of myself.
Thank you for the wonderful teaching.
I also work with dreams and loved the example you gave at the beginning. There are many ways to work with fear and your ways are very practical, clear and valuable. Practice does change our neural pathways so it’s god to remind ourselves of this as fear can feel so disabling and believing that this is just how it is. Many thanks.
Wow, when I asked myself the question who would I be, I found myself becoming tearful, such a powerful statement. I will be sure to use this in my practice.
I go through periods when I don’t feel fear and truly love myself and others unconditionaly. But triggers can sometimes create a lot of anxiety again. I see the difference between these two states and the devastation anxiety brings in my life. I have now tried to tell myself that when I feel anxiety, if at all possible, I won’t send an email or react to another person but I will withdraw and meditate until I feel better. Without that fear I can live fully and happily. With that fear, I tend to mess things up, alienate people from me.
Thank you Tara for this program! It is wonderful!
Even though you’re thousands of miles away; I am grateful that I am able to connect with you and your invaluable teaching.
Self compassion alongside Mindfulness has augmented my life.
Thank you for your generous gifts.
I would be more light and have a lot more fun in life!
And like others have commented before me: I’d be the best version of myself, I’d be able to spend more time on the things that truly matter and achieve more in the here and now, instead of wasting time worrying and overthinking.
Thank you for sharing this. I could relate to so much of this for myself and my clients. Who would I be without fear? What came to mind was, I’d be a vibrant and energetic force for good in the world! Love how this connected me to a wise internal self filled with optimism! Thanks again.

I would feel energy to fullfill my dreams, try out new things, exploring things that interest me deeply and be able to let my practise grow and be out there to support children and parents.
I would likely be more assertive to certain people about what I want in life and the things I value. I would be able to articulate myself and communicate while not having the extreme fear that I’m ruining other people’s lives by being true to myself
Without fear I would be able to move forward,, forgive myself for past mistakes, accept myself fully and allow myself to be fallible now and in the future.

Thank you, Tara, this is very helpful, both for my work with traumatized clients as for own self. I have been working with insecurity and fear for many years. Your 3 step-approach will support me in doing so, can´t wait to use them in my next sessions. Thank you! Eva, Germany
Thankyou for providing the opportunity to listen and reflect. “Real but not true” – 4 little words that can be so powerful in helping to build a new habitual way to return one into the here and now. “Who would I be?” A free spirit with my own choices – my true, organismic self; willing to face every days adventure with open arms instead of with angst.
Real but not true. That phrase seems so contradictory at first but now I understand that it speaks about noticing your thoughts and then having the courage to challenge them. Thank you! I hadn’t understood that you could acknowledge the worrying thoughts and still find a fearless truth.
I would be free to be creative, to allow myself the time to create. I would be an artist. I would be focused and disciplined. I would be a social butterfly instead of a recluse.
Thank you for the videos. I have felt stuck for a long time. I am just realizing that behind the paralysis is a lot of buried fear and grief. These short videos added to my knowledge and will help me as I move forward.
