Mysticism & Healing

We have approached the experience of healing within our contemporary spiritual culture mainly
through the body/mind/spirit paradigm. But within that paradigm, most of the
"healing" work is directed toward achieving emotional and psychological progress.
But attaining the experience of a full recovery for a disease requires far more than any support
systems that can be accommodated through the psyche or the emotional system. A complete healing
is ultimately a mystical experience and understanding the nature of the mystical component - what
it is and how one engages the mystical process in his or her life - is the subject of this
presentation. |
