404
Neurogenic Tremor Release Technique for the Alleviation of PTSD Symptoms

David Berceli MSW, MA

Many people often experience body tremors as a somatic reaction resulting from a traumatic event. However, because their purpose and etiology are often misunderstood, body tremors are usually considered frightening and disturbing rather than potentially therapeutic. Animal research has demonstrated that these tremors have a timely and unique therapeutic role in the recovery process. This workshop will provide a theoretical foundation for the restorative use of body tremors as well as a practical method to work with their therapeutic potential. Participants will learn how to safely and easily evoke this generically based discharge of the human organism.
