Alchemical Healing
Christine Page, MD

True healing does more than just restore a physical state. It's an alchemical process of transformation, illness being less of a problem and more often the solution. At least 60% of illness is a wake up call from the soul, bringing opportunities for change unlike any other catalyst, if we only can listen to the wisdom of the body.

As holistic healers, our intention is to bring wholeness to our clients influencing mind, body and spirit. The aims of alchemy are the same; to allow an individual to know themselves fully or as "all-chemistry" converting a base appreciation of themselves into a golden state of illumination or enlightenment. For Jung and others, this tradition included the sacred marriage of opposites where all aspects of ourselves are lovingly accepted, integrating them into our being and hence creating a precious and sacred vessel for the healing process.

Spiritual alchemy requires us to move away from the concept of merely "fixing" or removing the disease towards a deeper appreciation of an individual's journey with the practitioner intuitively listening to the pulse of the client's soul to bring maximum effectiveness to their practice with minimal effort.

For this to happen, the aim of the alchemical healer is to:
Know and lovingly accept ourselves as fully as possible.
Intuitively tune into the innate wisdom of the body.
Master our own energies and emotions, stepping beyond fear and shame
Direct our focus clearly, unlimited by dysfunctional beliefs
Create a state of loving presence...
...and allow the divine magic to happen
Finally, the healer is the alchemical vessel for the transformation of the client and hence emphasis is placed on our own ability to nurture, respect and honor ourselves on all levels knowing that any therapy is only as good as the quality of the receiving vessel and remembering that we wouldn't serve vintage wine in a plastic cup!

DAY ONE
What is Alchemy? Living from our center. Releasing attachments which limit the power to heal. Mastering inner energies and emotions; moving beyond fear and shame. Ancestral healing. Intuitively tuning into the innate wisdom of the body. Working with the subtle bodies. Creating healthy alchemical vessels for transformation.

DAY TWO
How the principles of earth, fire, air and water affect every aspect of well being. The Sacred Marriage of opposites. Embracing and lovingly accepting all facets of self. Clear focus; facing misplaced perceptions and dysfunctional beliefs. Moving beyond gratitude to celebration. Becoming the healing.
