602
Coyote Wisdom: the Healing Power of Story

Lewis Mehl-Madrona, MD, PhD

The rich wisdom of the world's indigenous cultures is contained in stories. These stories contain the wisdom of how to heal and transform, how to live a spiritual life, and how to belong to a tribe and a community. Indigenous cultures meet modern cultures through a storied approach to life. We will see how indigenous healers teach people to live a story of healing and wellness. We will explore story as the report of dialogue, and this dialogue as a means of transformative conversation between the material and spirit worlds, between mind and matter, and as a tangible transaction.
