Sex with the City:
Identifying and Treating the Sex Addict

Sexual addiction and compulsivity are on the rise for men
and women. Yet because of sexual shame, clients often are
afraid to talk about their sexual acting out behaviors. This
workshop will help you to accurately assess and treat sexual
addiction. Participants will learn the tools and treatment
used to help clients recover from out of control sexual
behavior. The treatment planning often involves assessing
the client's erotic mapping and ritualized sexual behavior.
The secret logic of sexual fantasy and behavior can provide
the nonsexual map to recovery. Various modalities of
therapy, along with the most recent research of effective
medications for this disorder, will also be addressed. |
