Experiential Neuroscience:
How to Improve Intellectual and
Physical Performance
Paula Oleska, MA
As an infant, physical
movements and sensory stimulation develop the brain and lay
the foundation for intellectual functioning and behavioral
patterns. As adults, crossword puzzles and brain teasers are
simply not enough to preserve and develop the brain. By
adding movement and touch, we can take advantage of the
brain/body connection in order to achieve and maintain the
brain's integrity. This workshop offers physical activities
that make up for missed links and improve coordination among
different brain systems. These exercises can improve focus,
comprehension, memory, reading speed, and solve many
behavioral and health problems. |
