Work ScholarsWork scholars will be able to attend the complete conference, including pre and post-sessions for a fee of $250. In exchange for this significant reduction in the registration cost, the work scholars will perform important tasks that enable the conference to run smoothly and efficiently. These tasks necessitate the need for standing for periods of time, moving quickly between sessions and duties, and being able to work early and/or late hours. The work scholar application deadline is August 31, 2009. Phone interviews will be scheduled as applications are received; therefore, early application is important. Work scholars will be notified of their status as they are accepted. Upon acceptance the work scholar will have 24 hours to make a final decision regarding commitment. After the 24-hour period, the nonrefundable registration fee will be processed. Those not accepted, but who still wish to attend the conference will be charged the early registration fee regardless of the registration date.
